Going Mobile

A series of paintings and painted multiples exploring a more earthy take on primary colour.

The works draw loosely from the language of a child’s mobile, where suspended forms shift in relation to one another. Shapes and colour sit just out of reach, inviting the imagination to complete the picture.

Each painting operates as a contained moment rather than a fixed narrative. Forms hover, overlap and settle, creating space for movement within stillness.

At its core, the series reflects an ongoing interest in curiosity and visual play, allowing structure and spontaneity to coexist on the surface.
