Great news my friends!
I have a brand NEW London Studio! A much bigger space, much more daylight and an extra boost to the work ethic and studio vibes that were already in abundance.
Having very quickly outgrown my previous space, the new work space offers much more floor space, wall space and I’ve configured it really well for a great and efficient working practice. Still on the to-do list is an overhead filming rig for recording the painting process from above.. But all in good time 😀
The new space is located in the Woolwich branch of the Art Hub Studios and is a large shared artists studio, housing spaces for many other makers and shakers. Art Hub have been running artist studios in South East London for over 30 years. Based across two sites in Deptford and Woolwich, they’re a not for profit company invested in keeping our studios affordable for artists at all stages of their career. So I’ve landed in with some really good peoples!
As I’ve always said, viewing artworks in the flesh will always trump their digital versions and to truly experience the greater benefits of engaging with art, in particular painting, this must be done in person. With this in mind, I’ve always had an open door for studio visits – so if you are interested in making an appointment to pop in, view some works, with the view to purchase or out of curiosity, then do get in touch.
It’s been a very productive couple of months so far, so I’m just catching up with more administrative tasks since focusing more on painting for the first half of this year. So expect to see many more new and original works made available online and feel free to get in touch if you’d like to discuss a bespoke painting.
